ABOUT US…
C3 Port Macquarie’s mission is to make disciples of all people in Port Macquarie, our greater region, and beyond (Matthew 28:19-20).
OUR PASTORS
Ps Jake and Kerrie Betlem have been Pastors with the C3 Church movement for 31 years.
Jake first served as the Church Growth Pastor at C3 SYD Oxford Falls for many years and then as the Cares Director, overseeing initiatives that impact tens of thousands of lives in our local and international communities.
In 2015, they started a new C3 congregation in Hornsby, which they’ve recently handed over to the next generation of leaders. Jake and Kerrie also serve C3 Global as Regional Directors.
Since 2015, they have been overseeing Southeast Asia, which has recently become 3 regions, Indonesia, Mainland Southeast Asia, and the Philippines, with over 80 churches.
Ps Jake and Kerrie have now answered a call to serve as the new lead pastors of C3 Port Macquarie/Foster Tuncurry.
- They are passionate about partnering with God to serve His plans.
- To empower people to live their best life.
- To bring health and vitality through spiritual formation.
- And to release people into divine purpose.
Jake and his wife, Kerrie, have four children and four grandchildren, half residing in Sydney, and half raising their family overseas.
What we Believe:
As a C3 Church, we believe:
there is one God: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, we believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His victorious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His constant intercession and in His imminent return.
in the person and work of the Holy Spirit with His fruits and gifts available in the Church.
The Bible is the living word of God – infallible, authoritative and everlasting, and the foundation of all Christian doctrine.
in the existence of an evil spiritual being – the devil.
in the spiritually lost condition of all people and the essential need for the ‘new birth’ by faith in Jesus Christ.
in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a gift available to believers subsequent to the new birth, with normal evidence of speaking in other tongues.
in the sacraments of the Lord’s Supper and baptism by full immersion in water for all believers.
in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting separation from God.
in the church, being the body of Christ, and each member being an active part of a local church, fulfilling the Great Commission.
